We are a non-profit organization founded by youths unsettled by recurring devastating wildfires and driven to solutions that integrate science, technology, and ecological systems design. We acknowledge the far-reaching direct and indirect global impacts of natural disasters which threaten many aspects of our lives including economic stability, physical health, and food security.
Dams, Dirt, and Determination
With unprecedented sense of urgency, we aim to act with impact by taking notes from nature’s best eco-engineers including beavers and fungi to
» expand wetlands
» remediate degraded soil
» promote carbon sequestration
» increase aquifer recharge
Retooling applied science to build and restore a resilient habitat beneficial to both humans and nature, guided by unique interconnectedness of our ecosystem.

How We Drive Change
Wetland Restoration
We construct beaver dam analogs to reduce river run-off, increase groundwater retention, and expand wetlands, thereby reducing risks of massive wildfires and restore biodiversity to damaged ecosystems.
Soil Remediation
We lead community mushroom-cultivation initiatives to promote an awareness of the importance of fungi in detoxifying and enriching our soil and water.
Youth Empowerment & Leadership
Through tangible projects with potential for significant impact, we aim to empower youths with technological solutions while fostering knowledge and appreciation of nature.
Community Engagement
We host workshops, build partnerships, and bring ecological engineering into classrooms and communities to spark curiosity, advocacy, and collective action.

WHY IT MATTERS
Massive wildfires, droughts, and environmnetal degradation are escalating globally. Many are anxious but are uncertain of what to do. We aim to transform fear into action. By connecting people with hands-on solutions, we aspire to develop a generation of change-makers, engineering activists, and problem solvers.
